Matthew E. Karp, 37 of Lambertville, MI, died Monday, March 2, 2015. Born August 12, 1977, he was the son of Avrom and Barbara (Zeadker) Karp. He was a 1995 graduate of Sylvania Southview High School. Matthew was the former owner and operator of Banner Mattress and Furniture until 2014. He loved singing, playing the piano and guitar and also enjoyed drawing and painting.
He is survived by his loving children, Faith Ashlynn Karp and Chance Avrom Karp, Mother, Barbara Karp. Brothers, David (Deborah Woodard) Karp and Steven (Julie) Karp. Former wife, Sara Karp. He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 3-7 pm Friday, March 6, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the Cherry Street Mission. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
